Meet Next Generation Weekend sponsor Douglas Alexander Lawson of Infinity Taxes And Beyond.
Mr. Lawson resides in the City of Riviera Beach, Florida and is currently running for Riviera Beach City Council District 5. Along with Infinity Taxes and Beyond, Mr. Lawson owns several other businesses.
Mr. Lawson is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and is an active member of the Palm Beach County Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.
In 2017, Mr. Lawson launched a nonprofit group called Bridge to Infinity, whose goal is to expose boys, ages 12-17, to entrepreneurship and business ownership opportunities in Riviera Beach
Lawson has been recognized for his work and service through a number of awards, including the 2016 “40 Under 40 Black Leaders of Today and Tomorrow” Award presented by Legacy Magazine, 2017 “AllSpice Award for Business Excellence” presented by the Caribbean Democratic Club of Palm Beach County, and profiled as a “2018 Mentoring Man of Palm Beach County” by SHE Holdings. In addition to being an active member of the Palm Beach County Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc, Lawson is also active in the Democratic Black Caucus of Palm Beach County and a member of Winner’s Church, where he serves on the Usher Board and Greeter’s Team.
